Mansion Mayhem v. 3.2

Welcome to the “last” update for MM! This update includes many background overhauls, balance changes, bug fixes, Quality of Life improvements, & a new map, Pug Hall. We plan to begin working on a standalone card game called “Power Move!” after this, so stay tuned!

As for MM, we feel like the game is complete after these additions. We may add a few things in the long run, but as of right now, we believe it is something we can look back upon & be proud of what we’ve created.

Game Changes

Global Cooldown

  • This Power is really lame. No one really used it. It’s buggy and bad…yeah. So we decided to remove it.

Balance Changes

Survivor Powers

  • Floor Glue
    • Duration reduced to 6s from 8s.
  • Bothersome Survivors
    • Now adds random power icons to empty hotbar slots.
    • Duration increased to 12s from 8s.
    • While this Power is active, it applies some very annoying effects to Killers.
    • Now accurately messes up Sonar’s beeping.
  • Killer Cripple
    • Speed, dmg , & attack speed now reduced by 30% (was 25%). Duration remains unchanged.
  • Bothersome Survivors
    • Power Overhauled
  • Survivor Boost
    • Speed boost reduced to 30% from 45%
    • Duration reduced to 8s from 10s.
    • Cooldown increased to 40s from 30s.
  • Intense Survivor Boost
    • Speed boost reduced to 60% from 80%.
    • Duration increased to 5s from 4.5s.
    • Cooldown increased to 40s from 30s.
  • Empowered Survivors
    • Speed boost reduced to 20% from 45%.
    • Cooldown increased to 40s from 30s.
  • Survivor Flashlight
    • Speed boost cap set to 35% (was 50%).
  • Flying Survivors
    • Uses decreased to 3 from 4.
  • Survivor Shield
    • Knockback intensity to Killers on successful blocks increased to 0.75 from 0.25.
    • Increased chance to block to 75% from 55%.
    • Duration reduced to 8s from 15s.
    • Cooldown reduced to 25s from 30s.
  • Undying Surivovrs
    • Undying Survivors is one of many “damage resistance” Powers in MM. Unfortunately this Power, being conceptually good, just isn’t used at all and thus rarely sees the light of day. Because of this, Undying Survivors is getting completley redesigned in hope of making it a more versatile.
    • Undying Survivors Rework
      • Survivors now take full damage from Killers.
      • When a Survivor dies, they will be instantly revived. Listed below is what happens when a Survivor is revived.
    • 50% of HP is given back.
    • Revived Survivors move 75% faster for 4 seconds.
    • Revived Survivors take 75% less damage for 4 seconds.
    • Killers are lightly tossed away from that Survivor (similar to Killer Repel)
    • Duration remains 6. Any Survivor that dies within this 6s period is instantly revived & receives the variety of effects above.
    • Uses decreased from 4 to 2.
  • Survivor Party
    • Power is getting reworked! But we need a bit more time. For the time being, Party has been removed from the game as it was very bugged.
  • Door Lock
    • Cooldown increased to 40s from 30s.
  • Killer Repel
    • Uses increased to 3 from 2
    • Cooldown increased from 35s to 40s
    • Repel amplifier increased from 3 to 4.
    • Duration increased from 6s to 10s.
  • Killer Haunt
    • Duration increased to 28s from 25s.
    • Ghost speed increased to 20% from 15%.

Killer Powers

  • Survivor Starve
    • Now starves harder & longer.
    • Uses decreased to 2 from 3.
  • Survivor Cripple
    • Speed & attack speed now reduced by 30% (was 25%). Duration remains unchanged.
  • Damage Boost
    • Damage increased to 100% from 60%
    • Hits on Survivors during the Power will increase Killer speed by 2% intervals. Speed caps at 20%.
  • Killer Boost
    • Speed Boost reduced to 30% from 45%
    • Cooldown increased to 40s from 30s.
  • Turbo Killers
    • Duration reduced to 6s from 6.5s.
    • Cooldown increased to 40s from 30s.
  • Mighty Killers
    • Speed & Damage Boost reduced to 20% from 35%.
    • Cooldown increased to 40s from 20s.
  • Boosty Killers
    • Standard jump height reduced slightly. This was allowing Killers to jump way higher than we intended.
    • Damage bonus increased to 100%.
    • Hits on Survivors during the Power will increase Killer speed by 2% intervals. Speed caps at 20%.
  • Sneaky Killers
    • Power rework
    • Killers cannot do any damage while Sneaky is active (damage events will be canceled completely)
    • Killers move 45% faster while invisible.
    • Duration set to 20s.
    • Cooldown increased to 40s from 30s.
  • Survivor Swap
    • Now swaps immediately when the Power is used instead of the usual 3 seconds.
    • Uses increased to 4 from 2.
    • Cooldown decreased to 20s from 50s
  • Survivor Shock
    • Hits required for a full charge reduced: 15 -> 8.
      • Each hit only removes 1 HP (half heart), so a max shock will now remove 4 hearts.
    • Glowing duration remains unchanged.
  • Survivor Bounty
    • Glowing Duration increased to 5 seconds from 3.4s.
    • Cooldown increased to 200s from 180s.
    • Survivors with bounties take less damage: 75% -> 50%

Bug Fixes

  • When players join while a game is active, they will now be placed in spectator mode & teleported to the location of the Killer. Previously players would be placed on no team and allowed to roam the map.
  • Leaving the server while a game is active will no longer cause the game to bug out & die.
  • Broken Blades bugs fixed.
